Gender less of an issue in a flexible office
The role of women in business has been placed firmly on the agenda during the past 12 months, but is the conversation really necessary?
Angela Whittington has been the general manager of Perth Urology Clinic since October 2016. Prior to that, she was the general manager of property services at Programmed, chief operating officer of the Peel Health Campus, chief executive of Imaging The South for over 8 years, chief executive of Global Diagnostics for 10 years, and resources marketing at Rio Tinto.
Ms Whittington was a winner of the Business News 40under40 award and the Western Australia Rural Woman of the Year in 2002, a second time recipient of the Business News 40under40 award in 2007, and winner of the WA Telstra Business Women’s Hudson Private and Corporate Sector Award in 2008.
