ITS name may belie its age, but Australian Heritage Group seems about to deliver shareholders a bounty.
Sally Capp AO spent seven years with legal firms, in both commercial legal work and management, before joining the Australian Heritage Group at the foundation of what is now a listed investment bank focused on the financial services industry. She became managing director in November 2000 for 4 years, having gained considerable insight into management with her previous employer Freehills.
Ms Capp has held several board roles and in May 2018, she became the Lord Mayor of Melbourne.
Ms Capp holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.
In 2023, she was awarded an Officer of the Order of Australia for distinguished service to the people of Melbourne, to local government, to business, and to the community through various organisations.
