GIS crucial push for conservation Barrow
Advances in geographic information systems technology are helping maintain conservation values on Barrow Island, a local GIS services company says.
Paul Farrell is the managing director of NGIS, an Australian solution provider of special information technology to vertical sectors in domestic and international markets. His role includes management of all Asia-Pacific operations.
Mr Farrell has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Western Australia, and is one of seven IT professionals recently awarded a scholarship by IT conglomerate, EDS.
