At the age of 34, Geoffrey Mather was requested to temporarily assume responsibility for the RAC WA group accounting department. He was subsequently appointed group chief financial officer of RAC WA and its subsidiary entities where he established a risk and compliance business unit, set up a project team to analyse the impact of adopting international accounting standards, and overseen the increase in the net assets of the RAC Group from $419 million to over $578 million.
Mr Mather also has a strong understanding of the health, retirement, aged care and education sectors, as well as over 10 years of experience as a non-executive director covering a range of industries.
He was a 2007 Business News 40under40 winner, completed the Leadership WA program in 2008, and completed the Advanced Management Program 176 from Harvard Business School in 2009.
