Andrew Sharp’s entrepreneurial career started out with the establishment of Arbor Vitae, an innovative landscape architecture and urban design consultancy. Following the completion of several prestigious public projects such as the Peninsula, Mirvac’s urban redevelopment at Burswood, Arbor Vitae attracted the attention of one of Australia’s leading planning and design practices, HASSELL. The resulting merger created the only Australasian design firm with Architecture services operating in offices throughout Australia, China and Thailand. As founding partner of Arbor Vitae, Andrew was offered a role as Equity Principal at Hassell.
