Andrew Buralli
At the age of 20, two years after his father passed away, Andrew Buralli stepped into the family business to provide a steady income for his mother and sister. There was nothing to lose as the business was heading towards bankruptcy and the only place it could go was up. Having turned the company around, Andrew later purchased P Hindle & Co from his partner and began a rapid expansion of their transport fleet. Three years later, Andrew had his first experience at establishing a company from scratch, creating AFL International Pty Ltd, an Australia-wide Freight forwarding company. In just 12 years since Andrew joined Hindle-Burallii the business has gone from near bankruptcy to generating an annual turnover of $40 million.
