Warrick Hazeldine is an experienced director, business and community leader. He is a long accepted as an expert board-level communications advisor and is recognised increasingly as a business builder and astute investor in his own right. He is an authority in the fields of investor relations, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions and crisis and reputation management.
Mr Hazeldine founded investor relations and communications firm Cannings Purple in 2004 at the age of 28, together with Caroline de Mori. The firm grew to become one of the leaders in its field, and was taken to the top spot when international marketing services company STW Group (later WWP AUNZ) bought a 49 per cent share. Mr Hazeldine promotes a flexible work environment to attract and retain the best people in the business. He retired from executive duties in December 2021 and remains on the board as non-executive director.
In 2020, he co-founded joint family and strategic investor offices BRT Equity and Northpoint Equity. Mr Hazeldine was appointed chair of Global Lithium Resources in February 2021, and a non-executive director of ChemX Minerals in September that year.
Mr Hazeldine is a member of the Curtin University Advisory Council for Business & Law Faculty and is a Director of Surfing WA, the peak body for surfers in WA and event manager for the world recognized Margaret River Pro. He is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a winner of the Business News “40 Under 40 Award”, which recognises the top 40 entrepreneurs aged under 40.
