Sarah Coleman is an experienced mining and management consulting executive with involvement in operations, improvement, innovation, technology, and asset management. She has worked with a wide range of top tier organisations across the mining, oil and gas, manufacturing, and healthcare industries.
Ms Coleman founded ImpRes (Improvement Resources) in 2010 and was its managing director. ImpRes specialises in business improvement for the resources sector. Its sister company, Sandpit Innovation, specialises in developing leading edge technology and innovation solutions for the mining sector. Sandpit, ImpRes and Optika Solutions were subsequently acquired by Perenti and will operate within idoba. In July 2020 Ms Coleman became the chief executive of idoba, a digital transformation service business for the mining industry and beyond.
Ms Coleman had also spent over 4 years at Rio Tinto’s WA operations.
She was a winner of the WA Business News 40under40 award in 2013, a CME Most Outstanding Young Professional female finalist in 2013, AIM WA's 2015 State Owner Manager of the Year, and a finalist in the Women In Industry Awards in 2016.
