Lee and her husband Damian established Chica Catering in 2004, with just one vehicle and a menu limited to platters to private functions. A favour to cater a friend’s birthday party acted as catalyst leading to Chica’s first major corporate client. Today, Chica Catering not only provides food and beverages, but also wait and bar staff, event managers and equipment to hire for private and corporate functions.
Chica Catering has also formed a partnership with Coffee Fresh, which has helped to further expand the business’ reach in the corporate market.

    The founder of Perth catering company Chica Catering, Lee Hall, has faced her fair share of obstacles in building her business – from a fire that ruined all the food prepared for three separate functions, being asked to cook without an oven, to remaining professional amid naked entertainers.
