Zoe McAlpine started her career in the not for profit sector at Breast Cancer Care WA in events, marketing & fundraising in 2006 and returned as the CEO in December 2014 to lead the organisation forward. Ms McAlpine has previously worked at Santa Maria College as director of community relations and development. In January 2010 she joined Starlight Children’s Foundation as the state partnerships manager WA where she was responsible for leading a fundraising team who looked after all managed relationships for the state across income streams of major donors, corporate partners, community fundraisers and events. In 2011 she added the responsibility for SA fundraising to her portfolio and in March 2013 moved to Sydney to take on the role of head of fundraising for Starlight, leading a team of 43 people across five states.
