Green World Revolution is a not-for-profit environmental social enterprise, growing jobs for the unemployed. It aims to provide pathways to sustainable livelihoods for people who are suffering from long-term unemployment, so they can improve their health and personal well-being and be relieved from poverty that comes from a reliance on social security payments.
At the end of 2012 GWR was funded through the Western Australian Social Enterprise Fund to develop an Urban Agriculture Pilot Project. The organisation established its first urban farm in Gladstone Street East Perth in 2013.
