Carbon buys GLC Business Solutions
Accounting, consulting and insurance broking firm Carbon Business Group has acquired Bibra Lake-based GLC Business Services for an undisclosed sum.
Nathan Hood is a qualified CPA and co-founder of Carbon Business Group, an accounting practice focussing on cloud technology. Carbon has grown from one office in Perth to four across Australia in the past year. Carbon has a policy of donating 1% of revenue to charity, and employs over 70 staff. Mr Hood has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance as well as a CPA. He sits on the board of Entrepreneurs Organisation, a not-for-profit designed to help entrepreneurs perform at a high level. He also sits on boards for multiple clients' businesses, including a highly successful national physiotherapy health group Life Ready. Mr Hood has aligned himself with multiple charities including Telethon Speech and Hearing, Mission Australia, St Vinnies, and participates annually in Vinnie's CEO Sleepout.
