From shoe fitter to archaeologist, then chief executive, Renee Gardiner’s career has been unique, none less than her current passion: using gardening as a way to give purpose to those suffering mental illness.
Spurred on by the suicide of her own mother, Ms Gardiner formed the not-for-profit Growing Change in 2014, Australia’s first commercial farming enterprise dedicated to mental health recovery.
