Westpac Institutional Bank appoints Head of Institution Bank, WA
Caroline Chan has been appointed to the role of Head of Institution Bank, Western Australia at Westpac Institutional Bank.
Caroline Chan has varied experience across strategy, business management, relationship management and credit analysis. As Head of Westpac’s Institutional Bank, which supports WA through $8bn of loans and deposits, Ms Chan has broken the mould. As she says, she is no “typical Caucasian male with silver highlights”. From a Malaysian immigrant family, Ms Chan worked hard to get her start, has a double major in law and commerce from UWA, worked with Rothschilds and then Westpac, all while balancing family (she has two boys) and her rapid rise through the ranks.
