Warburton named business woman of the year
A senior figure in Western Australia’s construction and mining industry, Sharon Warburton, has won this year’s Telstra Business Woman of the year award for the state.

Laura McMahon Higgins acquired Questamon in 2012. The company provides specialised contract training, and industry specific training courses, as well as ongoing support to the building, construction and mining industries. At the beginning of last year, Laura launched Questamon’s Indigenous Education Incentive, allowing indigenous people to attend any Questamon training course for free.
Laura also supports Vision Australia and the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
