Callum McCracken co-founded drilling technology company Minnovare in 2012 to develop and market the Azimuth Aligner, a drilling rig alignment system that significantly reduces time and labour costs for mining and civil engineering clients. Within just two years, Minnovare provided services to a number of large corporations including Newmont, BHP Billiton, Swick Mining Services, Rio Tinto and US-based Nicholson. In January 2022, Minnovare was acquired by Hexagon AB - a global leader in digital reality solutions, combining sensor, software and autonomous technologies. Mr McCracken then became the executive director of Hexagon's mining division.
