Kim Piacentini joined the family business in 1993, after high school. Founded in 1944 by his grandfather, Piacentini & Son is a mining and earthmoving contractor offering in-site preparation, bulk earthworks, mining, dam construction and over-sized load transportation. Under Mr Piacentinis directorship, the company has expanded operations to Madagascar, Kenya and New Zealand. He has also donated a training boat to the Busselton Sea Rescue, and volunteers as a firefighter in the South and Mid West region.
