Brendan Cooley started at International Maritime Services as a senior captain in 2007 and was appointed chief operating officer in 2010 and managing director in August 2017. He was the driving force behind the company’s partnership with Svitzer and Woodside Petroleum.

Mr Cooley supports the Buying Time Fundraising initiative and introduced an industry first Carbon Offset programme to balance the effects of oil ships’ diesel burning whilst on ocean delivery voyages. He is also a volunteer board member at the Cancer Wellness Campus.
