West Perth-based Capital Partners Private Wealth Advisors has been announced professional practice of the year by the Financial Planning Association of Australia.
With 17 years in the industry and five and a half years as chief executive officer of Capital Partners Financial Consulting, David Andrew has confirmed his proficiency as a financial and business expert. Mr Andrew commenced his career as a graduate trainee with National Mutual and worked in Hong Kong as an executive with National Mutual and Hong Kong Bank. During this time he created a superannuation and funds management business from scratch. In 1999 he established Capital Partners and, with time, it has grown to a team of 17 people. Mr Andrew has been a regional councillor for the Securities Institute of WA since 2002. He has lectured at the Securities Institute of Australia since 1997 and is a lead lecturer in capstone units in financial planning. In addition, he is a member of the National Consumer Advocacy Committee for the SIA, which has an influential role in shaping financial industry policy in Canberra, and is also a member of the National Advisory Board for MLC Alliances.
