iCollege restructures board
Following a board reshuffle this morning, Perth-based online education provider iCollege has a new chairman and chief executive, with the size of the board reduced to three.
Stuart Manifold won a 40under40 award for his role as managing director of Risktec Australasia, a premium provider of emergency management and associated safety critical training to the domestic and international oil and gas industry. He left Risktec in 2008 to start a mobile woodfired pizza business but later returned to on emergency management in the resources industry. For several years he worked with global services group GE before returning to consulting. In 2015 he became chief operating officer at iCollege, a few months before assuming leadership at the company.

Six months after ending a short stint as the head of thermal energy company Enerji, former Perth Wildcats owner Andrew Vlahov has been named chief executive of sporting-focused online education provider iCollege.
Global Gold Holdings has announced the appointments of Nicholas Ong as non-executive director and Daniel Smith as company secretary. Leonard Math has resigned as non-executive director and company secretary, and Henko Vos resigned as joint company secretary.
New premises and a major acquisition drive are behind iCollege’s growth in what’s considered a tough market for education providers across the country.
