Anna Kluczewska has been managing director of AION Diagnostics Limited since 2004. AION is an operating subsidiary of pSivida Limited focusing on the development of BioSilicon for diagnostic use. Prior to this she was head of marketing and medical affairs at pSivida, and was part of a successful $A28 million capital raising team, as co-presenter of roadshows in the US and Europe. Ms Kluczewska is also a principal of Integrin Consulting Pty Ltd, a private company providing product development and management services to the biotechnology and healthcare industry. She is also a non-executive director of CollTech Australia Limited, where she has been responsible for the management of due diligence, prospectus drafting and roadshow presentations for its initial public offering. Ms Kluczewska has undertaken significant volunteer work in developing countries. She has provided dental, orthodontic and surgical services to underprivileged children in Ouro Preto, Brazil, as part of Project Smile, an initiative supported by the World Health Organisation. In 2000, in her role with Health Volunteers Overseas Inc, Ms Kluczewska spent two weeks in Haiti giving dental lectures and clinical training. She also spent five weeks in Jamaica undertaking an oral health survey, examining more than 800 children living in rural areas as a follow-up study to observe the effects fluoridation of water on oral health in rural areas. A bachelor of dental science, Ms Kluczewska has won numerous research awards, and had several articles published in the Australian Dental Journal.
