Bitcoin exchange set to open in Perth
A new Perth-based cryptocurrency exchange is aiming to be in operation in the first quarter of 2018 after the company recently raised $750,000 in private funding.
With just $5000 in savings, Patrick P.K. Ng established telecommunications carrier Global Dial in September, 1994.
Selling real estate on the weekend to fund the expansion of Glob al Dial, Mr Ng has grown Global Dial to now employ 34 staff.
The company ranked number 10 with 162.72 per cent growth in Business Review Weekly’s Fast100, which recognises Australia’s fastest growing small and medium enterprises and the people behind them.
Mr Ng is also a campaigner for poverty stricken women and children in Thailand, so far sponsoring 10 children and making frequent visits to the notorious slums of Bangkok as part of his work.
