Dr Fiona Kelly is Managing Director of The Sugar Breakup. A general dental practitioner, Dr Kelly graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1991, winning the Convocation and Paediatric Dental awards. Dr Kelly worked in the Dental School of UWA for many years, primarily with its undergraduate training program in regional WA, which introduced dental students to private practice and dentistry in rural areas. After this she worked in Perth for seven years. She has extensive training in general and cosmetic dentistry and implant placement and restoration. She is particularly interested in motivating and helping people to keep their own teeth for life – preventative dentistry that she believes is best performed in a stress-free environment using the best equipment and technologies available. In 2001 Dr Kelly was the Western Australian winner of the Telstra businesswomen’s awards, the Geraldton Midwest businesswomen’s award, and the WA businesswomen’s business owner award sponsored by Westpac. In 2002 John Howard conferred upon her the Prime Minister’s Award for her contribution to the business community, and in 2003 she won a Business News 40under40 Award.
