Andrea Pearson discovered the beauty and value of freshwater pearls in China where she lived for four years. Ms Pearson returned to Perth with a bag of pearls she was determined to sell and a strong belief in the city’s potential as a market. Five years later she has successfully established a new product in the market by convincing customers of the quality and value of Chinese freshwater pearls. Ms Pearson now owns a business earning hundreds of thousands in annual sales, and has two dozen agents and shops selling her jewellery across Australia.
