Datacom continues growth despite GFC
Concerted investment in people has helped Rising Stars award winner Datacom Systems WA maintain strong growth despite challenging market conditions.
Basil Lenzo, a 40under40 award winner in 2010, spent over 25 years as a senior executive across a broad range of markets, leading business growth, and representing strategic and operational business plans to company boards, executive teams and employees.
He is also an active Investor across a number of startups.
Mr Lenzo founded Datacom WA in 2007 and led the company until it was acquired by the Datacom Group in 2015. He was appointed general manager of ASG Group in July 2016 to lead their Western Australian operation before joining INX Software in 2018 as chief marketing officer and then as chief executive from April 2019 (when Tanarra Capital invested in the business) until his departure in July 2021. He has since been the director of customer experience at K2fly since November 2021.
