Aboriginal heritage laws an ‘absolute minimum’
WA’s new Aboriginal heritage laws have been broadly welcomed but raised concerns about the capacity of Indigenous corporations to deliver on their new responsibilities.

Kellie Swanson-Hill founded Kellie Hill Consulting in 2002 and developed it into a successful company that provides Aboriginal heritage and native title approvals to the exploration, mining and infrastructure sectors. The business, known as Agreement Hub, manages around 30 projects around the regions of Western Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland and South Australia. Ms Swanson-Hill is the managing director of Agreement Hub, which collaborates with traditional owners and works with Aboriginal corporations to re-build underperforming heritage businesses and provide employment & training to the Aboriginal community in the regions.
In 2009, the company became a finalist in the Telstra Business Awards and Ms Swanson-Hill became a finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Award.
