Chemical spill at Alcoa refinery
Two people have been taken to hospital after a chemical spill incident at Alcoa's alumina refinery in Pinjarra on Tuesday afternoon.
Alcoa’s Australian operations represent the world’s largest integrated bauxite mining, alumina refining, aluminium smelting and rolling system. It also operates the country’s largest aluminium recycling plant.
Alcoa of Australia operates the mines, refineries and smelters. Alcoa Australia Rolled Products operates the rolled products plants and recycling operation.
