Toby Edmunds arrived in Australia from England with just $200 to his name. Five years later, he had worked his way into the position of general manager of $500 million waste business Toxfree, where he strived to grow the business to its full potential. At 28, he was the youngest general manager in Toxfree’s history.
Mr Edmunds prided himself on ensuring his employees were safe and satisfied in their work, and managed to maintain an average employee tenure of 11 years at Toxfree.
Having been on the brink of losing his home to a bushfire in 2015 before volunteers came to the rescue, Mr Edmund now spends his spare time volunteering with the East Gidgegannup Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade to do for others what the brigade had done for him.
Mr Edmunds recently left Toxfree and commenced with Sadleirs Logistics.
