Founded in 1829 by two brothers, Lionel Samson and William Samson, who arrived on the second settlement vessel into Fremantle, the Lionel Samson Sadleirs Group has three main organisational divisions – Sadleirs Logistics, Sadleirs Global Logistics and Sadleirs Packaging. The company sold its Plantagenet Winery division in March 2021 to former executive Tom Wisdom, who is also a six-generation descendant of the original founder. Still a privately owned family business since inception in 1829, LSSG has expanded its infrastructure and services to become a trusted logistics and packaging provider to many of Australia’s leading companies.
