Elizabeth Shaw has experience in the government, industry and not-for-profit sectors. She is also one of Australia’s leading voices on diversity, inclusion and cultural change.
Ms Shaw became a partner of PwC's newly created diversity and inclusion practice in Perth in March 2022, with responsibilities to grow the firm’s diversity and inclusion consulting business nationally and advise organisations on people, change, culture, diversity and inclusion. Prior to PwC, she was an associate director within KPMG’s management consulting practice where she led its diversity and inclusion division.
Ms Shaw was the president of UN Women Australia, the youngest person to hold the role and the first Western Australian. She was also deputy chair of Inclusion WA, and sits on the steering committee of the 30% Club which is focused on increasing the number of female directors on ASX-200 boards.
Ms Shaw has been recognised by AFR and Westpac as one of Australia’s 100 most influential women, and won a Western Australian of the Year Youth Award from Celebrate WA.
She is a sought-after industry commentator on gender equality issues; and publishes regular opinion pieces for the AFR, The Australian, SMH and other leading publications.
