Starting out as an agribusiness analyst, Tracey Lefroy took a different pathway when she established Cranmore Home in 2013, a retail store stocking Australian designed homewares, furniture and art.
From inception as an online business, Ms Lefroy has since opened a brick-and-mortar store in her town of Moora, maintaining a sound retail customer base while growing Cranmore Home’s presence among commercial clients – procuring goods for building companies, interior designers and architects. Sales have grown significantly despite the challenge of overcoming distance to market, being based in a regional town in the Wheatbelt, and parenting three young children.
Ms Lefroy plans to share her business learnings in her capacity as the councillor & president of the Moora Shire, with a focus on education and entrepreneurship, and in her role as board member of Innovation Central Midlands.
