OncoRes Medical is a medical device company established in 2016 to develop and commercialise an imaging tool designed to improve the outcome of breast cancer surgery. The tool has been developed over five years by a team led by Dr Brendan Kennedy, Head of the Bioimaging Research and Innovation for Translational Engineering Lab (BRITElab) at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research and a Senior Research Fellow at The University of Western Australia (UWA).
The company secured $6 million of funding from the Medical Research Commercialisation Fund in 2017.
