Pro9 raises $8m
Perth-based building systems manufacturer Pro9 Global has completed an $8 million capital raising that will fund the construction of a manufacturing plant in Sydney.
Daniel Jukic founded specialty engineering contracting business MIE Enterprises aged just 23. He sold the business, which services Rio Tinto and BHP Billiton, a decade later to a global engineering firm.
Rather than retiring, Mr Jukic instead chose to launch his second venture, Pro9 Global, in 2016 with the aim of revolutionising Australia’s building sector with a building wall system that is energy-efficient and fire-resistant.
The Pro9 building system can also reduce the time and cost of building a new home, without compromising quality. It provides one of the highest thermal and acoustic ratings possible, resulting in lower utilities bills and more affordable housing. In October 2017, Pro9 Global was awarded a pilot project to test the insulated façade in Croatia.
