Blackburne managing director Paul Blackburne was last night named the 2016 Business News 40under40 First Amongst Equals, ahead of a talented and diverse field of candidates.
Since arriving in Perth as a backpacker in 2002, Paul’s swim coaching concept, Swim Smooth, has grown into a $2 million international business, doubling revenue in its most recent year. Paul’s Mr Smooth app has had ~150,000 downloads, his co-authored book ~65,000 purchases, and his weekly blog reaches ~115,000 subscribers worldwide. His system is taught in 119 countries, and has been used to design a wet-suit range worn by Olympic swimmers.
