Property player tops 40u40
Blackburne managing director Paul Blackburne was last night named the 2016 Business News 40under40 First Amongst Equals, ahead of a talented and diverse field of candidates.
Robert Diletti has been involved with his family’s Castle Rock Estate vineyard for most of his life. Aged 9, he saw the initial planting in 1980s, and after working there during his teens, spent 15 years away managing other vineyards, winning several prestigious awards.
Mr Diletti returned to Castle Rock and, as owner, has taken the small family-owned winery to the national stage being awarded the coveted James Halliday 5 Star rating and being recognised as the Winemaker of the Year 2015 by the Australian Wine Companion Awards.
