Covocate provides algorithm-based candidate screening services for companies seeking to hire new staff.
A proud Gumbaynggirr man, Leslie Delaforce was the co-founder and co-owner of Covocate. He was also the managing director of DreamSpark, an organisation aiming inspire young indigenous Australians to pursue and create their own employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Mr Delaforce has held board positions with not-for-profit organisations including HelpingMinds and StartupWA. He had also held a variety of senior roles across government, including as principal policy advisor within the WA Museum.
Mr Delaforce became the head of entrepreneurship and indigenous business at Minderoo Foundation's Generation One initiative in August 2020. His role is to facilitate investment and identify research & education opportunities to grow and strengthen the Indigenous business sector.
