Pet ‘parents’ are prepared to pay
From expensive surgery to photo shoots and elaborate cremations, the multi-billion-dollar Australian pet industry is producing novel and profitable services.
Lee Cassell started Passing Paws Pet Cremations in 2014, offering his services to families and veterinary clinics for a range of animals, from horses to birds. Mr Cassell joined the British military at 17, and served in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo and Northern Ireland. After leaving the military, he worked in military support roles before later moving to Western Australia and founding his business.
