Major marine players keen to diversify
Marine services providers won’t be knocked off course by the waves of change in the oil and gas industry.
Lee Bartlett has been with TAMS Group, a diverse national marine services business based out of Fremantle, since October 2011 initially as a chief financial officer before becoming chief executive in April 2022.
Prior to joining TAMS Group, Mr Bartlett was an external auditor for BDO, specialising in owner managed businesses and large motor dealerships. He serves on the boards of the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce, the Fremantle Foundation and End Homelessness WA.
In 2017, Mr Bartlett started his own business, opening the Rottnest Island restaurant Frankie’s on Rotto. The business has filled a gap in the market on Rottnest and led to Mr Bartlett opening Lexi’s on Rotto, a restored 1970s caravan on the island’s west end offering coffee and drinks and available for events catering.
