Decmil profit slides 5%
Engineering and construction contractor Decmil Group has posted a 4.9 per cent fall in first-half profit to $24.3 million as a result of lower construction margins in the tough market.
Scott Criddle joined Decmil Australia in 1993 as a construction labourer to gain experience and learn about the company from the ground up. He held a variety of roles within Decmil Australia including construction manager, estimator, business development manager and area manager. Mr Criddle was appointed chief executive in July 2009 and managing director of Decmil Group in April 2010. He stepped down from those roles in May 2020 but remains an executive with the company until July 2020.
