WBHO Infrastructure was a WA-based civil construction business founded in 1987. It operated across multiple sectors, including roads, mining infrastructure, telecommunications and concessions.
The company employed over 350 people in Australia and had seven offices in WA, NSW, Qld and Victoria.
Its parent company, WBHO, was headquartered in South Africa where it was one of the largest civil engineering, roads, earthworks and building construction companies.
The Australian business won a Business News Rising Stars award in 2012.
In February 2022, WBHO Infrastructure was placed into administration when Johannesburg-listed Wilson Bayly Holmes - Ovcon withdrew financial support for its Australian subsidiary WBHO Australia.
In April 2022 WBHO Infrastructure was acquired by SRG Global through a Deed of Company Arrangement, becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of SRG Global and renamed “SRG Global Infrastructure”.
