Robert Spencer launched Australia’s first dedicated computer game stone in Perth in 1989, and by 1994 he was also the editor-in-chief of a cult international games magazine.
Mr Spencer is working hard to establish Perth as an international game development hub, launching not one but two totally new game studios in WA.
He has been the managing director and chief executive of Stirling Labs since September 2015.
Mr Spencer is president of the Perth Chapter of the International Game Developers Association, president of the Nullabor Independent Games Competition, and was an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Creative Technology and Media at Murdoch University.
