SPECIAL REPORT: A group of companies offering a faster alternative fixed-wireless internet service has dialled into a niche market.
Stephen Cornish founded Pentanet (ASX:5GG) in 2017. Under his leadership, the company has continued to achieve impressive year-on- year growth surpassing 12,000 customers connected under the Pentanet brand. In 2018, Stephen was a finalist in the Australian Young Entrepreneur Awards, and in 2019 was recognised as one of WA’s forty leading business entrepreneurs in the Business News 40under40 Awards. In 2019, Mr Cornish founded Pentanet.GG, Western Australia’s own esports league, and is actively championing the digitisation of Perth as the next global esports destination. In January of 2021 Stephen successfully guided the company through and IPO and listing onto the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX:5GG).
