Perth bid for $75.3m Solar Cities initiative moves closer
Perth's bid to participate in a $75.3 million national Solar Cities initiative designed to make it a more sustainable city has moved a step closer.
The City of Bayswater is a member of the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council, located in the heart of the inner east, about 7 kilometres northeast of Perth's central business district.
The City covers an area of 34.6 square kilometres and includes the suburbs of Bayswater, parts of Bassendean, Bedford, parts of Beechboro, parts of Dianella, Embleton, Maylands, Morley, parts of Mount Lawley, and Noranda.
In June 2019, the City of Bayswater was a National iAwards Finalist in the Most Effective Government Solution category at the WAITTA INCITE awards for its geospatial enterprise portal.
