Lacey Filipich learned her initial investment strategies when she was a child, and bought her first property at 19.
After graduating as a chemical engineer, Ms Filipovich moved to Western Australia from her native Queensland and began work in the resources industry.
In 2010, she established finance education business Money School. More than 3,000 adults have completed the Money School financial education programs. She later started Maker Kids Club, which teaches school children about entrepreneurship.
