Janelle Marr has been involved in corporate strategy for over 25 years, spanning foresight, planning, sustainability and business transformation across Asia, Europe and Australia. She has extensive experience across Western Australia’s business, government, and community sectors.
Ms Marr has been the managing director of StepBeyond Strategy since October 2007.
She is a Commissioner of Tourism WA; Councillor of Charles Darwin University; Councillor of Governance Institute of Australia; Deputy Chairperson for Arts and Culture Trust; was president and chair of Burswood Park Board. She was a past Councillor of Edith Cowan University, chair of Screenwest and deputy chair of Ability WA.
Ms Marr is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Institute of Australia, a 40under40 winner in 2012, and her consultancy was a Telstra Business Award winner in 2013.

Bus and coach business ADAMS Group was named the Telstra Western Australian business of the year at an awards ceremony held last night.The Malaga-based business, which also won the medium business award, was started in 2005 by former Australian Army soldier Adam Barnard with one bus.
