Jan Norberger was the Liberal Party Member of the Western Australia Legislative Assembly for Joondalup from 2013 to 2017. In the March 2016 reshuffle, Mr Norberger - a 2012 40under40 winner - was made a parliamentary secretary to support the Minister for Planning. He was also a member of the parliamentary Economics and Industry Standing Committee.
His past experience included the Royal Australian Air Force and working on commercial projects in East Timor. Mr Norberger spent over 5.5 years as general manager of Richards Mining Services, a training and recruitment provider for the mining, construction and transport industries; and has been the general manager of training and recruitment at the Australian Medical Association (WA) since April 2017.
