Tim Purcell

Gravity Crane Services is a locally owned and operated company that is competing successfully with national and international firms. Tim grew up in the industry, through his father’s crane hire operation, but started his own business from scratch in 2003. Tim describes himself as a confident risk-taker, and has fostered a ‘no limits’ approach to growth. That has enabled Gravity to win work on some of WA’s largest projects, including the Gorgon gas project. Wit a fleet of 26 late-model cranes, Tim’s major focus over the past year has been strategic planning and building Gravity’s management team.
