Chris Bates is the founder & chief executive of Lawmee, and a director of KBE Legal Talent.

Mr Bates had also established Interpeople (now RFM Global), national insurance brokerage KBI, and Mason Ledger Legal Talent. Prior to establishing Mason Ledger, Mr Bates advised partnerships and boards on legal market trends, growth opportunities, pricing methodologies, client engagement strategies, legal technology, recruitment and retention.

He was a qualified migration agent, is a practising lawyer first admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2008, and a guest lecturer at several law schools.

Mr Bates was a recipient of Business News' 40Under40 Awards in 2011, at the age of 27.
