ZipTel aims for 1m downloads of ZipT app
Telecommunications firm ZipTel has signed a marketing deal with Zhenya Tsvetnenko’s Mpire Media to promote the former’s ZipT smartphone application in more than 120 countries.
Mpire Media, led by Zhenya Tsvetnenko, has achieved success developing SMS gateway technology to market premium mobile messaging services globally.
The business grew from its inception in 2006 to result in a $2 million advertising spend by 2008, pioneering advertising on the Google content network to build a campaign delivering over 22 billion ad impressions and became Google Adwords’ largest client worldwide.
In 2009 Zhenya made his debut on the BRW Young Rich List which estimated his wealth at $107 million. Zhenya is the national winner of the prestigious Ernst and Young, Entrepreneur of The Year 2010 young category, and the Western Australian Business News 40 under 40 awards 2011.
Mpire Media has expanded its ventures across a wide variety of digital and online properties to include mico-billing platforms, mobile application development, mobile and online advertising, social media, enterprise development and e-commerce.
