Salt Lake raises $20m
Salt Lake Potash has raised $20.25 million via a share placement, with the funds set to advance the development of its Lake Way project.
Salt Lake Potash holds a number of large salt lake brine projects in Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory, each having potential to produce sulphate of potash for domestic and international fertiliser markets. Most notable of these is the Lake Wells project near Laverton.
In December 2015, the company changed its name from Wildhorse Energy in order to reflect the change in the business away from its former focus on the evaluation of underground coal gasification (UCG) projects and uranium deposits primarily in Europe and the United States.
In October 2021, Salt Lake Potash went into voluntary administration. The company was delisted from the ASX in July 2023.
